Americas Best Value Inn

Frank and Wendy Johnson recently became the owners of the Americas Best Value Inn at 815 W. 8th.  Frank and Wendy are both from Wichita and have great plans in store for the inn.  Soon you will see a new blue metal roof and new outside painting.  With the brick already in place, the color scheme will truly be red, white, and blue.  There will be new landscaping and a new restaurant or bar & grill.  They are making changes daily and welcome anyone to stop by.  They can be reached at 326-2255.

Sonic Drive-In

The Wellington Sonic at 1111 North A has been purchased by Rick Benard of Sedgwick.  Rick owns 13 Sonics around Kansas.  He plans to keep all employees and has promoted Dana Page to General Manager.  He plans to add an on-lot music system, but otherewise "business as usual".
