The Kansas Small Business Development Center is offering a Federal Tax Workshop for Small Business on Thursday, April 1, 1:00-5:00 PM at the WSU Hughes Metro Complex, Oliver and 29th North, Wichita, Kansas.  The cost of the workshop is $20.

Learn more about taxes for a new or startup business.  Discussion topics include tax ID numbers, self-employment tax, paying estimated taxes, common business deductions, recordkeeping, and an introduction to payroll and unemployment taxes.  This workshop will be instructed by Ross Hirst, a recently retired Senior Stakeholder Liaison with the IRS.
