K-Doll Koatings is known for their blast resistant modules which are designed to withstand an explosion, but now they are tackling a new challenge. They are replacing the home of a Conway Springs' resident who lost their home in the tornado that tore through Sumner County in April of this year.
The home is made of steel just like K-Doll's blast-resistent modules. The only difference is this project will actually look like a house. It will have a roof and eaves, siding on the outside, and sheetrock on the inside.
This new challenge for K-Doll began in June with a little help from a structural engineering firm from Wichita.
