Sumner County Economic Development Commission and Sumner County Farm Bureau sponsored a Wind Farm Tour to the Ferrell Ranch in Beaumont, Kansas on May 28, 2008.  39 area residents participated with a bus trip, lunch at the Beaumont Hotel, and tour of the wind farm on the Ferrell Ranch.  It was a very impressive and informative trip.  For further information on this wind farm, please visit the following website:
