The City of Argonia recently unveiled its new website, www.cityofargonia.com.  The site features information on where to shop and eat, church directories, a local business directory, and emergency contact information.  You can also find city ordinances, zoning regulations, and soon citizens can pay their utility bill online. 

City clerk Janet Etheridge maintains the site that came about with suggestions from city council member Natalie Kollmeyer.

The former Full Moon Saloon now has a new owner, new name, and new look.  Greg Catherwood took over the space and has renamed it The Nugget.  They are located at 213 South Main in Argonia.

Richelle Greene has opened her new photography studio, R. Greene Photography, on Main Street in Argonia.  The studio now occupies a recently closed building at 108 S. Main. 

Greene started out in her son's old room in the basement of her house, but wanted to expand.  "I thought about putting the studio by the house, but my husband, who also owns his own business, said we could get better publicity if we moved it somewhere with more traffic," Greene said. "The place on Main Street became available and we hopped right on it."

John Schlickau is the newest board member for the Sumner County Economic Development Commission.  John is the representative for the City of Argonia.  Welcome John!
