Sugar Sisters Opens in Caldwell

Sugar Sisters is now open in Caldwell.  Running the eatery are Dani Schmidt, Pattie Sprague, LuAnn Jamison, Michelle Schiltz, and Jan Williams.  They are located in the former Eastern Star/Masonic Hall. 


The menus depend on whatever the sisters feel like fixing on that particular day but suggestions are welcomed.  Dishes range from Mexican food to chicken dinners. 


Sugar Sisters is also available to cater for weddings, birthday parties, family reunions, etc.

The Country Inn motel has opened at 765 W 175th Street South in Caldwell under the ownership of Lori Haugh.  If you are in need of motel space, give them a call at 620-845-2181.

Pig Shack Bar-b-que and The Olde News Coffee Shop Open for Business

Pig Shack Bar-b-que opened inside the Carroll Glass building at 1102 North A in Wellington.  The new owners are Shane and Preston Carroll.  The restaurant will be open at 11:00 AM daily for dine in or carry-out.  The menu will feature brisket, pulled portk chicken, ham, turkey, coleslaw, homemade french fries and more.  They will also sell Farmer Brothers Spices.
